Getting Started In Vista (for faculty)
This 2-day highly customized workshop addresses the need to jump start most programs and to get the faculty enthused about this extraordinary teaching system. Although Vista offers almost limitless possibilities for sharing and leveraging resources, the first time teacher is mostly concerned with teaching one course as well as they did in Campus Edition or another software. In two days participants will convert a course to the Vista environment, explore the basic Internet tools they have been using, examine several new tools offered only in Vista, and set up their online gradebook. Faculty will be empowered as a Section Designer/Instructor to extend their course deisgns into a powerful, flexible teaching environment. More >
