Zip

Compression method used to save space on a disk or hard drive. Compressed files are easier to transfer between servers. In WebCT zip is used extensively in Manage Files, which has built in zip and unzip features. See chapters on Zipping and Unzipping On Your Computer and Zipping and Unzipping in WebCT.
