J On a WebCT Organizer Page, an icon is a graphical image, which should represent something meaningful to the user. It usually is a hyperlink to a tool, file or information. IE Acronym for the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. Img Src (Pronounced image source.) This is the HTML code used to insert a graphic on a web page. This is the HTML code that uses the alt tag. Import From within WebCT, importing is the process for transferring data from one place to another. Generally, this is from a text (.txt) file that has been uploaded into Manage Files into one of the WebCT Tools or interface. In Whiteboard import brings one to six graphic files into a palette for sharing with the class. Import and export are most often associated with batch uploads. IP Mask In WebCT Quiz settings, the IP mask uses the IP address to limit access to a quiz. Using the full IP address limits access to a particular machine.
